As a parent of two boys who attended CBS Secondary School, I can honestly say our experience was very positive. Like many parents, we visited several schools open nights, but from the moment we stepped into CBS Secondary, we were impressed by the friendly and confident students and the welcoming staff.
The open night was informative and well-organised but what truly stood out were the students themselves. Two students spoke about their school experiences with confidence and sincerity, completely unscripted. I remember thinking, if this is how a student turns out after six years at CBS, that speaks volumes about the school.
Both of our sons settled in quickly and found subjects and activities that suited their individual interests and challenged them.
The variety of opportunities available, along with the encouragement and support of the teachers, allowed them to achieve both academically and personally.
CBS Secondary School provided our sons with a well-balanced education in a supportive and inclusive environment. In the end, our sons left the CBS just like those two students we heard speak on that first open night, confident, capable, and proud of their school.
